This FREE training is provided by BELFOR and will be offered on August 11 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. and
August 12 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

- General safety and health provisions - OSHA posters
- Competent person - description
- Value of safety & health (personal value & corporate value)
- OSHA website and available resources (researched statistics page)
- OSHA 300 Log & summary
- Navigating the OSHA webpage/State specific page of class
OSHA FOCUS FOUR HAZARDS
- Electrical-subpart K (.75 hour)
- Fall Protection-subpart M (.75 hour)
- Struck by-falling objects, cranes, vehicles (.50 hour)
- Caught in/between-trench hazards, equipment (.50 hour)
PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (1.0 hour)
HEALTH HAZARDS IN CONSTRUCTION (1.0 hour)
- Noise (hearing conservation)
- Hazard communication, MSDS-resources to obtain, reading/understanding MSDS, HMIS/NFPA codes, MSDS quiz
- Respiratory protection
TOOLS – HAND & POWER (1.0 hour)
- Powder actuated tool authorized user – resource identification for training
